Glen Mullan holds a B.Sc. (Geology) from Concordia University and has 42 years of experience in the mining industry. Glenn is the CEO of Cleghorn Minerals and is also President, CEO, and Chairman of Golden Valley Mines. As an independent prospector, Glenn assembled and acquired many mining prospects ranging from grass-roots ventures through advanced-stage projects. He was instrumental in assembling most of the properties comprising the exploration portfolio now explored by Golden Valley Mines and related companies in the Zed Zed Group. Glenn is the former President of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).
Joseph Groia is a Principal at Groia & Company Professional Corporation ; a securities litigation firm in Toronto . He is also a bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada. He acts as counsel for clients in a wide range of corporate and securities cases. From 1985 to 1990 he was the Associate General Counsel and then Director of Enforcement at the Ontario Securities Commission . He joined Heenan Blaikie in 1990 to practice corporate and securities litigation as a partner until he founded Groia & Company on January 1, 2000. Mr.Groia has been ranked as one of Canada’s 500 Leading Lawyers in Lexpert Magazine since 2000. His cases have included Asbestos Corp., Atlas Cold Storage, Philip Services, YBM Magnex, the Glamis-Goldcorp arrangement and Canadian Tire. Mr. Groia’s most noteworthy professional accomplishment was his leadership of the team that successfully defended Mr. John B Felderhof in the 10 year OSC prosecution of charges arising out of the collapse of Bre-X Minerals Ltd.
Karen Rees holds a B.Sc. Honours Geology degree from the University of Saskatchewan (1984). Ms. Rees is a member of Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO, 2002). She has over 30 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry in Canada, primarily in Ontario. Ms. Rees was Vice President, Exploration and Corporate Secretary of Temex Resources Corp. until late 2015 when Temex was acquired by Lake Shore Gold when she assisted with transition of Temex assets to Lake Shore, and for subsequent acquisitions by Tahoe Resources in 2016, and Pan American Silver in 2019. With Temex, Ms. Rees was instrumental in the development of the precious metals portfolio and growth through establishment of best practices for corporate governance, communications and management. Ms. Rees continues to work in the industry as an independent consultant and is on the Board of Directors of LaSalle Exploration (public) and Willeson Metals (private). As an enthusiastic volunteer in the industry, Ms. Rees is on the Board of Directors of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), is a member of the Executive Committee, member of the Governance and Nominating Committee, and member and Chair of the Human Resource Development Committee.
Christian Wirth has a Masters degree in finance and capital markets and has been active in the mining industry since 2004. His primary activities have been in financing, company structuring and project sourcing. During the last decade he has been active as a management consultant for various companies with exploration operations in multiple jurisdictions. Mr. Wirth has built strong relationships within the European investment community over the past two decades. Mr. Wirth is fluent in German, English and Portuguese.
